Our client is national solar contractor and asset management business with over 19,000 assets in their portfolio. Looking for a dynamic and commercially astute, Business Development Manager to drive growth, positioning the business as the go-to brand for installations and O&M. You will be targeting Hard FM, Property Management, Commercial and Industrial sectors - winning business and building long-term partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Win new contracts across target sectors and services
- Own the full sales cycle—prospecting to close
- Deliver board-level presentations and proposals
- Build lasting relationships with senior stakeholders (C-suite, Property Managers, FM leaders, Energy Managers)
- Stay ahead of the market—tracking trends, pricing, and competitors
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery
What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in commercial solar or related sectors
- Strong network across Hard FM, Property, Commercial & Industrial
- Solid technical knowledge of solar PV (systems, design, products, financing models)
- A “hunter” mentality—self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven
- Excellent commercial and communication skills

- Competitive package with strong commission (salary reviewed annually) - £50-£70k DOE + OTE £25k - £35k
